Two Honduran volunteer physicians gave medical evaluation to all of Jubilee’s 90 students the last three days. We are excited to continue to integrate more holistic ways of care and education for our students, this time focusing on their physical health. Overall, we were thankful to find that the majority of the students are very healthy. Some of the students though suffer from minor malnutrition and others with parasite issues. Both of these issues are unfortunately very common in Honduras, particularly among the
poor. We are hoping and praying that through one of the doctors we might be able to receive medications, particularly parasite medications for the kids. Check out some of our recent pictures in the Flickr album to the right.
