Ms. Nancy, our PreK teacher reflected on her childhood dream stating, “Since childhood I dreamed of being a teacher and after many efforts, I have succeeded. One thing I realized when I arrived at Jubilee Ministry is that intellectual knowledge is not enough. One needs to be taught with love, patience, and empathy. For it is necessary to preach by example. That is why it is necessary for me to become an eternal student of the word of God. And I truly like this very much because doing so my life is built with strength.
One story that Ms. Nancy remembers was at one of the individual meetings with the parents. She said, “I spoke with Kevin’s mom and she told me that she is a group leader in her church and that one day she was surprised by two girls who knew all the verses they were singing during worship. At the end of that meeting, she asked the girls where they had learned the verses, and they told her that they learned them in their school. So they (Kevin’s mom and dad) decided to bring their only child to our kindergarten here in Jubilee. Although the child has a lot of parental attachment with them, she is very happy because he has been adapting very well.”
