Ms. Paola Soto, our music teacher, shared that Jubilee has been part of her formation as a person, daughter of God, professional, and a worshiper. She said, “When I have the opportunity to share with my friends and family about the work I do in this ministry, they can see the spark in my eyes while I talk about something that I am passionate about.” She continued and said, “This is true for me as music is one of my passions. However, what I enjoy the most in Jubilee, in addition to teaching music, is that through the music program we call “Kids in worship” we can contribute to the integral formation of the student. I witness what God does through music and above all praise in the hearts of children. One of the activities I enjoy most is to praise and worship with them during our worship times together, and to see their sincerity and truthfulness in their praise. I also enjoy the teaching-learning process in the classroom as it helps me guide them to acquire a deeper musical knowledge, especially when playing the flute and reading music. It fills me with joy to know that the work we do is not in vain. I am excited to be part of the change that is generating in this community from Jubilee International.”
Ms. Paola said, “I may not have a specific story of a particular child, as the lives of all have impacted mine. What I can highlight is being a witness of entire families giving their life to Christ, as a result of the teachings that children receive in the Ministry. Being able to see their maturity, their way of expressing themselves when they speak of the love of God in their lives and the place that God occupies in them. While I was asking who God is to them and what it means to be a worshiper in Spirit and Truth, their answers always fill my heart, which allows me to learn a lot from them. All of this motivates me to persevere in God, to want to develop a sincerer and truer heart in my daily life, and to want to be better every day to give them the best example in word, conduct, love, spirit, faith and purity. I want to continue to see significant changes in their lives and families through the work of the Holy Spirit and His power acting in our lives as teachers.
